I purposely waited to give my thoughts on this in case there was a trade that involved Samuel Bolduc. If the Isles do keep both around, the Isles will have the need for that offensive defenseman from Reilly while still allowing Bolduc the time to mature as a player. This will also affect right-handed defenseman Aiden Fulp, who still needs a solid year with Bridgeport before getting a possible late season call-up. I do think there could be a pairing of Bolduc and Fulp in the Isles future, but bringing back Reilly to help with the present was almost necessary.
