Blog: 2018-19 Western Conference Predictions By The Numbers

October 3, 2018

Can’t have one without the other. It’s the same format as the Eastern Conference and so now, here are my predictions (expectations) for the West. The Core Teams: These are the teams that should make the playoffs: Winnipeg, Nashville, St. Louis, Vegas, San José and Los Angeles. The Central will remain the strongest division in the league and thanks in part to a few injuries, one team falls out and…

Blog: 2018-19 Eastern Conference Predictions By The Numbers

September 27, 2018

Every year I write up a different kind of preseason prediction because the upcoming season really is unpredictable. To be honest, this should really be more like an expectation piece than a prediction, but like all kinds of writings like these, take with a grain of salt. What I tend to do is I take info from the last three years of each player and after some simple math and…

Isles Talk 2017-18 Western Conference Predictions

September 25, 2017

So we’re just about two weeks away from the start of the regular season and it’s time for my predictions segment. Now unlike many, I love doing predictions. Blog: 2017-18 New York Islanders Season Preview

September 12, 2017

This is not going to be the usual Islanders prediction preview where I spill the addition and subtraction of players and take a guess as to where the Islanders will land either in the Metro division or the Eastern Conference. Hockey from the Blind Side, Back on the Grid for Another Season

It has been a long time, I know. Unfortunately, the summer brought a lot of business related distractions and some travel as well. I have not had much time to write anything, and barely enough time to keep track of what has been going on in the sport’s world. Nevertheless, with the preseason under way and being back from a vacation, I have had time to catch up and get…
