Isles Talk Prospect Report: Overall Rankings

Juniors, college players, professional prospects and the graduates were all covered over the last two weeks, but I was asked to give my overall ranking of the players. Ask and you shall receive. We may agree, we may not and that’s okay. The point is to generate some discussion and to try to (literally) guess what moves the Islanders may make this summer, beginning draft week. The way I came up with this was that I basically asked myself this question: Just on talent alone, who would get a call-up to the Islanders should the team need them? Some are of course already playing for the Islanders or the Sound Tigers, but it’s good to see where I feel some of the other younger prospects are in terms of their development/talent and how close (or far) they really are. Let’s have some fun and rank the kids!
