Isles Ink de Haan & Cizikas To Contracts

From various reports: The New York Islanders have signed center Casey Cizikas to a two year $2 million dollar contract & defenseman Calvin de Haan to a three year $5.9 million contract.

My take: Solid signings and if de Haan can stay healthy, as he should, this is just about as good as Snow can get as a GM other than the Andrew MacDonald, Travis Hamonic & John Tavares deals. All the Islanders players are now signed except for goalie Kevin Poulin, who will go to an arbitrator on July 30th.  So that’s it Isles fans, barring a trade (not likely this summer), your roster is set. What’s next is training camp and who stays and who goes and which free agent gets an invite to camp.
